Bardia National Park Safari 3 nights package tour
The flight takes you to Nepalgunj and an hour’s drive to Bardia national park, Nepal’s Far South-Western Terai, east of Karnali River. It is one of the Terai region’s largest undisturbed areas of wilderness.
Bardia National Park provides excellent habitat for endangered animals like the rhinoceros, wild elephants, tigers, swamp deer, blackbuck, marsh mugger crocodile, Gharial crocodile, and Gangetic dolphins. Birdlife includes the Bengal Florican, Lesser Florican, silver-eared Mesia, and Sarus crane. There are also over 200 bird species, 30 different mammals, fish, lizards and snake species in the park’s forest, grassland and river habitats. In addition, there are many residents and migratory birds in the park.
On arrival at Nepalgunj airport, you will receive a traditional welcome and drive to Jungle Lodge and check-in formalities followed by refreshments and a briefing on our lodge, its facilities and the day’s program.
After lunch, the activity includes Katha Corridor, Dalla community, Tharu village tour, elephant breeding centre and a sunset view from Karnali River Bank.
Receive a wake-up call followed by tea/coffee and breakfast—Full-day safari activities, including Jungle Walk and Tiger tracking Safari. Packed lunch will be provided in the Jungle. This day offers complete access and the opportunity to view the rich fauna and flora of Bardia National Park and an excellent chance for Photography.
Receive a wake-up call followed by tea/coffee and breakfast—Full-day Jeep Safari, with packed lunch, inside the Bardia National Park. This day offers an excellent opportunity to see the wildlife, including smaller mammals, and the crocodile breeding centre. Back to Jungle Lodge, refreshments and dinner with Tharu Community Cultural Dance Show at the Lodge premise.
Receive a wake-up call followed by tea/coffee and breakfast—checkout formalities. Then, drive to Nepalgunj airport for a flight to Kathmandu. Finally, arrive at Kathmandu Airport, where the representative of Happy Feet will welcome you back and drive to your hotel. The rest of the day is free—the end of the special safari program.
