“In Sept 2022, a group of us started a trek to the Upper Dolpo region of Nepal with Happy Feet Mountaineers.  The trip was well organised with a great team of support people. But a trekking company like Happy Feet is best judged not when things go well but when they go wrong. Sometimes, at the start of the trip, I got Dengue Fever. I got to the point that I asked to be evacuated back to Kathmandu. Before I had spoken to the insurance company back home via satellite phone, Happy Feet had already organised a helicopter, which arrived promptly and took me straightaway to Nepal’s premier hospital, where Ngima Dendi Sherpa, managing director of Happy Feet, awaited me to help with any check-in procedures. Ngima visited me each of the 5 days I was in the hospital and could not have been more helpful. So, if you want to trek in Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan, I can wholeheartedly recommend Happy Feet – a fantastically well-run company!”

“With Happy Feet, I was treated to treks that I will cherish for the rest of my life. An exceptional trekking company second to none that kept prices affordable. Every detail was well-planned, so I never had to worry about anything. From the owner to the sherpas and porters, everyone was very friendly and always did that little extra for the trekkers. I trekked in 2013 and 2014 for the month of October each year. In 2014, I separated my Rt Shoulder just before I was to leave for Nepal, and instead of me cancelling my trip, the company offered to have a sherpa carry my day for the duration of the trek, which is what happened. I would gladly recommend using Happy Feet to anyone.”
