The flight offers stunning views of the Himalayan ranges of Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Langtang, Lamjung, Fishtail, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, Annapurna, Nilgiri, Tilicho and Dhaulagiri mountain Range. The Helicopter takes us over Marsyangdi and Trishuli River valleys and above Begnas, Phewa, and Rupa, Pokhara’s three most known lakes.
The tour starts from Kathmandu Airport with a close-up view of Langtang and then to Pokhara and Lands at Sarangkot lookout to let us enjoy the marvellous views of Annapurna, Lamjung, Fishtail, and Dhaulagiri. Then it flies into the Annapurna Sanctuary and lands there for 20 minutes to let us admire the grandeur of the Annapurnas and Annapurna Basecamp, one of the world-famous mountain bases on the earth. The stop here follows with a tea/coffee or breakfast; please inform us of your desire while booking the tour.
Then the flight exits the Annapurna basecamp and heights through the cradle of Hiunchuli and Annapurna South and lands at Poon Hill, one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the Annapurna region, at an altitude of 3200 metres above sea level. The mountain sceneries include Fishtail, Annapurna range, Nilgiri, Tukche, Dhaulagiri range, Kaligandaki Gorge, and 360-degree views. After taking essential photographs and admiration, we fly further north, over the Kaligandaki gorge, sightsee the Muktinath (a sacred site both for Buddhists and Hindus) and Kagbeni, enjoying its mountain sceneries and land at Jomsom, the windiest airport of Nepal, for refuelling. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Thorung, Tukche, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho, and Nilgiri mountain ranges during refuelling. The flyback is equally impressive as we fly near the Tukche and Dhaulagiri Mountains, view Mount Tilicho, Nilgiris, and Annapurna mountain masses and exit through the Kali Gandaki gorge, the world’s deepest gorge, between the two 8000 peaks, the Annapurna I and Dhaulagiri.
