For travelling to Nepal, the tourist visas can be obtained from the following immigration offices in Nepal for the following duration or from Nepal Embassy/Consulate or Nepalese Mission offices in respective countries:
- Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu
- Kyirong, Rasuwagadi (Northern Border) Nepal/Tibet border
- Kakarvitta, Jhapa (Estern Nepal) Nepal/India border
- Brigunj, Parsa (Central Nepal) Nepal/India border
- Belhiya, Bhairahawa (Rupandehi, Western Nepal) Nepal/India border
- Jamuna, Nepalgunj (Banke, Mid Western Nepal) Nepal/India border
- Mohana, Dhangadhi (Kailali, Far Western Nepal) Nepal/India border
- Gaddachauki, Mahendranagar (Far Western Nepal) Nepal/India border
Visa Fee Nepal
- 15 days tourist visa US$ 30
- 30 days tourist visa US$ 50
- 90 days tourist US$ 125
Nepal visa extension provisions
- The visa extension fee for 15 days or less is US$ 45
- A visa extension for more than 15 days is US$ 3 per day
- Tourist visas can be extended for a maximum period of 150 days in a single visa year (January- December)
Requirements for Nepal Tourist Visa
The following documents are required to apply for a Nepal Tourist Visa:
- Original passport with a validity of at least six from the entry day and with at least two blank visa pages in the passport.
- A printed copy of the personal information page of your passport
- One passport-size picture (1.5inch x 1.5inch with white background).
- Return flight or travel ticket
