Expedition in Nepal

Mt. Pumori Expedition

Mount Pumori stands gloriously on the border between Nepal and China, above the famous Kalapathar view point and to the proximity of Everest Base Camp trekking rail. Pumori, which means "Unmarried Daughter" in the Sherpa dialect, is also one of the most preferred mountains to climb due to its easy access and exposure above the famous trekking trail. Among the Everest Climbers this mountain is also known as the daughter of Mount Everest because of its beautifulness and exposure in the front of its Base Camp.

Most of the trekkers to Everest region attempt the top of Kalapathar, which is 5,545 meter above the sea level, for a better view of Mount Everest. The panorama from this view point includes Mount Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori, Laboche, Khumbu glacier and Everest Base Camp.

We take the safest and technically demanding South Ridge route to summit of Mount Pumori.
